Dr. Howitt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Physical Education from the University of Western Ontario where he was the therapist for the varsity rugby team. He later graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic and subsequently from the two-year post-graduate residency in sports sciences. Most recently he completed his three-year post-graduate fellowship in Rehabilitative Sciences. Dr. Howitt is also a certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Kinesiologist, and an Acupuncture provider. Apart from his clinical work at Sports Performance Centres and the Gorman Shore clinic at York University, Dr. Howitt works as an assistant professor in the Clinical Sciences department at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
