Mark Thompson has been a licensed doctor of chiropractic since March, 1991. He began following ART principles and protocols in early 1992 via Dr Leahy's published journal articles regarding soft tissue manipulation. When classes were offered to become credentialed in Active Release Techniques in 1997, he avidly immersed himself in the technique. Today he has a solidly established practice, which utilizes ART as an integral part of diagnosis and treatment. An avid mountaineer and rock climber, Dr Thompson has had the opportunity to provide ART for Maasai warriors from the higher altitudes of Kilimanjaro to the most remote locations in the Caucasus Mountains. His ultimate goal is to climb Mt Everest in the spring of 2006.
